I am sure all of you are well aware of the fact that nuclear power plants are a great threat not just to Australia but to the entire world. Unfortunately, our organization focuses solely on Australian nuclear power plants, although we are happy to share our knowledge with people who has similar interests like we do. With this being said, I would like to force an emphasis on the severity of the problem that these nuclear death plants represent. We, at Antinuclear Australia, consider them to be real time ticking bombs that could shed horror and death with every passing second. I am sure you have all heard about Fukushima and Chernobyl. Do we really need something like that to happen in our dear country before we shut down all of them once and for all? Australia is a modern country that should follow the laws of mother Earth and stop with exploiting nuclear power. The past has showed us how dangerous it can be and as such we should be taking it with a huge dose of salt. For the love of all that’s good guys, we are living in the 21st century and we are still depending on nuclear power? I would really like to know why is our country not investing in renewable energy sources? That’s where the future of our life on Earth lives. That’s the only real way to provide millions and millions of people – with clean electricity from renewable energy sources. We are all aware of the fact that our country is blessed with strong wind and water currents. Why is our government not doing anything to exploit them for energy? Why are we still using a couple of decades old nuclear power plants with ancient technology dating way back from the last century? WHY?
